THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN MOUNT HOLLY NJ HAS ISSUED A

* FLOOD WARNING FOR...
  MORRIS COUNTY IN NEW JERSEY

* UNTIL 1225 PM EDT

* NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE SKYWARN SPOTTERS IN CHATHAM AND AUTOMATED
  RAIN GAGES IN THE EASTERN PART OF THE COUNTY HAVE REPORTED
  BETWEEN 2 AND 3 INCHES OF RAIN HAS FALLEN DURING THE PAST THREE
  HOURS...ESPECIALLY IN THE EASTERN PART OF THE COUNTY.  NATIONAL
  WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED THAT SHOWERS AND
  THUNDERSTORMS WITH THE HEAVIEST RAIN SHOULD LINGER OVER THE COUNTY
  DURING THE NEXT ONE TO TWO HOURS AT LEAST.

IMPORTANT TO KNOW WHERE YOU ARE RELATIVE TO STREAMS...RIVERS...OR
CREEKS WHICH CAN BECOME KILLERS IN HEAVY RAINS. CAMPERS SHOULD
AVOID CAMPING ALONG STREAMS OR CREEKS DURING THREATENING RAINS.

AREA RESIDENTS SHOULD MONITOR FLOOD CONDITIONS... AND BE PREPARED
TO MOVE TO HIGHER GROUND... SHOULD FLOOD WATERS THREATEN. IF FLASH
FLOODING IS OBSERVED... ACT QUICKLY. MOVE TO HIGHER GROUND TO
ESCAPE FLOOD WATERS. DO NOT STAY IN AREAS SUBJECT TO FLOODING WHEN
WATER BEGINS RISING.

DO NOT DRIVE ON ROADS THAT ARE BARRICADED AND AVOID ROADWAYS THAT
ARE PRONE TO FLOODING THIS MORNING.
