FLOOD WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 1200 AM EST TUESDAY
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION...

IN DELAWARE

   ...NORTHERN NEW CASTLE COUNTY

AT 10 PM...THE STAGE OF THE CHRISTINA RIVER AT COOCH/S BRIDGE WAS
9.5 FT.  THIS STAGE READING IS DOWN SLIGHTLY FROM THE PREVIOUS HOUR
INDICATING THAT THE RIVER HAS CRESTED.  WATER LEVELS ALONG THE
CHRISTINA RIVER IN THE VICINITY OF THE COOCHS BRIDGE GAGE ARE EXPECTED
TO FALL DURING THE NEXT SEVERAL HOURS...AND THE STAGE AT COOCH/S BRIDGE
SHOULD FALL BELOW IT/S 9 FOOT FLOOD STAGE BY AROUND MIDNIGHT.
RISING WATER THIS EVENING IS A RESULT OF HEAVY RAIN WHICH FELL OVER
NORTHERN DELAWARE SINCE MONDAY AFTERNOON.  RAIN HAS NOW MOVED OUT OF
NORTHERN DELAWARE SO THE CHRISTINA RIVER SHOULD RECEDE BELOW FLOOD
STAGE DURING THE NEXT FEW HOURS.
