THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING
EFFECTIVE UNTIL 430 PM CST FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING COUNTIES

IN SOUTHEAST OKLAHOMA
     CARTER...JOHNSTON...MURRAY AND PONTOTOC

AT 336 PM CST NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A
SEVERE THUNDERSTORM OVER GENE AUTRY...MOVING NORTHEAST AT 30 MILES 
PER HOUR. OTHER THUNDERSTORMS WERE STRENGTHENING IN PONTOTOC COUNTY 
FROM JUST EAST OF ADA TO NEAR ROFF.

HAIL THE SIZE OF NICKELS WAS REPORTED JUST NORTHWEST OF ARDMORE AT 
335 PM.

HAIL UP TO THE SIZE OF QUARTERS AND WIND GUSTS TO 50 MPH ARE LIKELY. 
VERY HEAVY RAIN AND FREQUENT LIGHTNING WILL ALSO OCCUR. SEEK SHELTER 
INDOORS...AWAY FROM WINDOWS...AND AVOID USING ELECTRICAL APPLIANCES.
