THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN MOBILE HAS ISSUED A

* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...
  ESCAMBIA COUNTY IN SOUTHWESTERN ALABAMA
  OKALOOSA COUNTY IN NORTHWESTERN FLORIDA

* UNTIL 1000 PM CDT

* AT 740 PM CDT... RADAR INDICATED THUNDERSTORMS WITH VERY HEAVY
 RAINOVER  CENTRAL OKALOOSA COUNTY,FL... WHICH ARE MOVING SLOWLY SOUTH
LESS THAN 10 MPH. NWS SPOTTERS REPORTED THAT UP TO INCH OF RAIN FELL
IN 15 MINUTES TIME.  RADAR INDICATED THAT BETWEEN THREE AND FOUR
INCHES OF RAIN FELL IN LESS THAN ONE HOUR NEAR AND JUST SOUTH OF
CRESTVIEW,FL. RAPID INUNDATION OF LOW-LYING AREAS BY WATER WILL
CONTINUE TO OCCUR OVER THE NEXT SEVERAL HOURS.

REPORTS FROM THE ESCAMBIA COUNTY ALABAMA EMA INDICATE THAT INUNDATION
OF SEVERAL HOMES AND BUSINESSES HAVE OCCURRED AS A RESULT OF RAINFALL
RUNOFF DURING THE PAST FEW HOURS. RADAR ESTIMATED THAT UP TO 4 INCHES
OF RAIN FELL IN THE BETTER PART OF AN HOUR NEAR ATMORE,AL. RAINFALL
RUNOFF AND FLOODING WILL CONTINUE THROUGH 10 PM CDT.

* THIS WILL ALSO CAUSE WIDESPREAD FLOODING OF SMALL STREAMS AND POOR
  DRAINAGE AREAS IN AND NEAR CRESTVIEW,FL.

DON'T DRIVE INTO AREAS WHERE WATER COVERS THE ROAD!
