THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN MOBILE HAS ISSUED A

* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...
  CHOCTAW COUNTY IN SOUTHWESTERN ALABAMA

* UNTIL 1000 AM CDT

* AT 750 AM... NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR AT MOBILE
  INDICATED SHOWERS AND EMBEDDED THUNDERSTORMS WITH VERY HEAVY RAIN
  OVER CHOCTAW COUNTY...WHICH ARE MOVING EAST 10 MPH.

* THIS WILL CAUSE WIDESPREAD FLOODING OF SMALL STREAMS AND POOR
  DRAINAGE AREAS IN CHOCTAW COUNTY. LATEST RADAR ESTIMATES
  INDICATE THAT UP TO 4 INCHES OF RAIN HAS FALLEN OVER THE SOUTHWEST
  QUARTER OF THE COUNTY SINCE 5 AM CDT. ALTHOUGH STRONGER STORMS LIE
  WELL SOUTHEAST OF THE AREA...PERSISTENT STEADY RAINS WILL ACCUMULATE
  UP TO 1.5 INCHES PER HOUR OVER A LARGE AREA OF THE COUNTY THROUGH 10
  AM CDT.
