THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN MELBOURNE FL HAS ISSUED A
TORNADO WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 1205 AM EST
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION...

IN EAST CENTRAL FLORIDA

   ...VOLUSIA COUNTY
 
AT 1115 PM EST...WEATHER RADAR INDICATED THAT ANOTHER TORNADIC
THUNDERSTORM WAS OVER VOLUSIA COUNTY APPROACHING THE DAYTONA BEACH
AREA. OTHER SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS WERE OVER THE COUNTY FROM DELAND
AND DELEON SPRINGS EAST TO ORMOND BEACH...TO HOLLY HILL...TO DAYTONA
BEACH. THE STORMS WERE MOVING NORTHEAST AT 45 MPH AND LIKELY
PRODUCING LARGE HAIL AND DAMAGING WINDS.

SIGNIFICANT TORNADIC DAMAGE WAS REPORTED AROUND 11 PM IN THE SOUTH
DAYTONA BEACH AREA.
 
CARS AND MOBILE HOMES CAN BE TOSSED ABOUT BY TORNADO WINDS. DO NOT
TRY TO OUTRUN A TORNADO IN YOUR VEHICLE. ABANDON VEHICLES AND MOBILE
HOMES WHEN THREATENED BY A TORNADO AND GO TO A STRONG BUILDING. IF NO
STRUCTURE IS NEARBY...SEEK SHELTER IN A DITCH OR LOW SPOT.
