THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN MEMPHIS TN HAS ISSUED A
TORNADO WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 705 PM CDT
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION...

IN NORTHEASTERN MISSISSIPPI

   ...LEE COUNTY

AT 629 PM DOPPLER WEATHER RADAR INDICATED A POSSIBLE TORNADO MOVING
TOWARD THE NORTHWEST PART OF LEE COUNTY.  MOVING EAST NORTHEAST AT
50 MPH ... THE TORNADO WAS LOCATED JUST EAST OF BLUE SPRINGS AT 629
PM AND WILL MOVE INTO THE GUNTOWN AREA BY 645 PM.  A TORNADO WAS
REPORTED ON THE GROUND AT THAXTON AS THE STORM MOVED THROUGH THAT
AREA.

.THIS IS A DANGEROUS STORM SITUATION. ACT QUICKLY. IF YOU ARE IN
THE PATH OF THIS TORNADO MOVE TO A PLACE OF SAFETY BELOW GROUND IF
AVAILABLE. OTHERWISE...GO TO A SMALL INTERIOR ROOM ON THE LOWEST
FLOOR POSSIBLE. AVOID WINDOWS. ABANDON CARS AND MOBILE HOMES FOR A
REINFORCED BUILDING OR GET INTO A DITCH OR CULVERT.
