IN NORTHWEST GEORGIA ...DEKALB COUNTY...FULTON COUNTY AT 700 AM EST PEACHTREE CREEK STAGE WAS AT 19.0 FEET. IT IS FORECAST TO CREST AT 20.5 FEET AROUND 900 AM EST. AT 20 FEET WATER WILL BE IN HOMES ALONG BISCAYNE ROAD AND IN THE COLONIAL HOMES APARTMENTS...CROSS CREEK GOLF COURSE ON NANCY CREEK FLOODS AND HOMES ALONG RIDGE VALLEY ROAD WILL BE AFFECTED. DO NOT DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE INTO AREAS WHERE THE WATER COVERS THE ROADWAY. WATER DEPTHS OF ONLY ONE TO TWO FEET WILL CAUSE MOST AUTOMOBILES TO BECOME STRANDED OR FLOAT AWAY. IF THE WATER IS MOVING ...THE ROAD BED MAY BE ERODED. VEHICLES CAUGHT IN RISING WATER SHOULD BE ABANDONLED QUICKLY.
