* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...
  LAVACA COUNTY IN SOUTH CENTRAL TEXAS
  DEWITT COUNTY IN SOUTH CENTRAL TEXAS

* UNTIL 645 PM CDT

* DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED SHOWERS AND A FEW THUNDERSTORMS...
SOME WITH HEAVY RAIN...MOVING ACROSS LAVACA AND DEWITT COUNTIES
TO THE SOUTH SOUTHWEST AT 10 MPH.  RADAR INDICATED RAINFALL RATES
NEAR ONE AND ONE HALF INCHES TO TWO INCHES POSSIBLE.

IF YOU ARE IN THESE AREAS... MOVE TO HIGHER GROUND. DO NOT DRIVE
THROUGH WATER COVERING THE ROAD.

AREA RESIDENTS SHOULD MONITOR FLOOD CONDITIONS... AND BE PREPARED
TO MOVE TO HIGHER GROUND... SHOULD FLOOD WATERS THREATEN. IF FLASH
FLOODING IS OBSERVED... ACT QUICKLY. MOVE TO HIGHER GROUND TO
ESCAPE FLOOD WATERS. DO NOT STAY IN AREAS SUBJECT TO FLOODING WHEN
WATER BEGINS RISING.

SECONDARY ROADS...LOW BRIDGES...AND LOW WATER CROSSINGS WILL BE
IMPASSABLE IN SOME AREAS THE NEXT FEW HOURS.   MOTORISTS SHOULD NOT
IN ANY CIRCUMSTANCES ENTER FLOODED LOW WATER CROSSINGS AS THIS FAR
TOO FREQUENTLY KILLS PEOPLE.
