FLASH FLOOD WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL  200 PM EST
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION...

   ...RICHMOND COUNTY
 
AT MIDDAY FLOODING WAS REPORTED AT THE INTERSECTION OF PEACH ORCHARD
ROAD AND WINDSOR SPRING ROAD. FLOODING WAS ALSO REPORTED AT THE
INTERSECTION OF BUNGALOW ROAD AND RICHMOND HILL ROAD. WATER WAS
BEGINNING TO COVER THE ROAD AT THE INTERSECTION OF JACKSON ROAD AND
WRIGHTSBORO ROAD. NEARLY 2 INCHES OF RAIN HAS FALLEN ACROSS THE AREA IN
THE PAST 3 HOURS. LIGHT TO MODERATE RAIN WILL CONTINUE FALLING THROUGH 2
PM.
 
A FLASH FLOOD WARNING MEANS THAT FLOODING IS OCCURRING OR IS
IMMINENT.  MOST FLASH FLOOD DEATHS OCCUR IN AUTOMOBILES.  DO NOT
ATTEMPT TO CROSS BRIDGES...DIPS...OR LOW SPOTS IF WATER COVERS
THE ROADWAY.  NEVER TRY TO CROSS A FLOWING STREAM...EVEN A SMALL
ONE...ON FOOT.  TO ESCAPE RISING WATER MOVE UP TO HIGHER GROUND.
