THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN TAUNTON HAS ISSUED A

* FLOOD WARNING FOR...
  NORTHERN BRISTOL COUNTY IN MASSACHUSETTS...

* UNTIL 800 AM EDT WEDNESDAY MORNING

* AT 900 PM...THE WADING RIVER WAS AT 9.0 FT AND RISING.  FLOOD
  IS ESTIMATED AT 9.5 FT AND THE RIVER WILL GO OVER FLOOD STAGE
  BY MIDNIGHT.  

* OTHER SMALL STREAMS IN THE COUNTY WHICH TYPICALLY TAKE LONGER
  TO RESPOND MAY SPILL OUT OF THE BANKS LATER TONIGHT.  ADDITIONAL
  SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WILL MOVE INTO MASSACHUSETTS BY 10 PM
  WITH THE POTENTIAL OF 1 TO 2 INCHES OF ADDITIONAL RAIN TObNIGHT. 
  THIS ADDITIONAL RAINFALL COULD AGGRAVATE THE FLOODING PROBLEMS.

ANYONE LIVING ALONG THE RIVER THAT IS PRONE TO FLOODING SHOULD 
TAKE ACTION IMMEDIATELY TO PROTECT LIFE AND PROPERTY.
