FLOOD WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL  145 PM EST
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION...
 
IN SOUTHEAST MASSACHUSETTS
 
   ...PLYMOUTH COUNTY
 
HEAVY RAIN CONTINUED TO FALL ACROSS PLYMOUTH COUNTY AND FLOODING OF
SMALL STREAMS AS WELL AS CONSIDERABLE FLOODING OF POOR DRAINAGE AREAS IS
EXPECTED DURING THE NEXT FEW HOURS.  SMALL STREAMS WILL RISE
SIGNIFICANTLY AND MAY FLOOD NEARBY ROADS.  FLOODING HAS ALREADY OCCURRED
FROM THIS RAINFALL ACROSS NEWPORT COUNTY RHODE ISLAND.
 
RAINFALL AMOUNTS OF 3 INCHES HAVE BEEN REPORTED AT PLYMOUTH WITH 3.6
INCHES IN WEST WAREHAM. AN SHOWERS MAY PRODUCE ANOTHER HALF INCH TO
PERHAPS ONE INCH OF RAIN COULD FALL THROUGH THE EARLY AFTERNOON ADDING
TO THE FLOODING.
 
DO NOT DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE INTO AREAS WHERE THE WATER COVERS &THE
ROADWAY.  THE WATER DEPTH MAY BE TOO GREAT TO ALLOW YOUR CAR TO
CROSS SAFELY.  VEHICLES CAUGHT IN RISING WATER SHOULD BE
ABANDONED QUICKLY.  MOVE TO HIGHER GROUND.
