THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN TAUNTON MA HAS ISSUED A
FLOOD WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 1220 PM EST
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION...

IN SOUTHEASTERN MASSACHUSETTS

   ...NORTHERN BRISTOL MA COUNTY

THE WADING RIVER IN THE TOWNS OF MANSFIELD AND NORTON IN NORTHERN
BRISTOL COUNTY OF MASSCHUSETTS HAS REACHED ITS FLOOD STAGE OF 9.0
FEET.  RAINFALL FROM THE RAIN STORM MONDAY CONTINUES TO RUNOFF AND
FILL THE RIVER TO BANKFUL.  THE RIVER MAY OVERFLOW IN SOME AREAS.
HOWEVER THE HEAVY RAINFALL HAS ENDED. THUS THE RUNOFF WILL DECREASE
WITH TIME AND THE RIVER WILL4 SLOWLY RECEED LATER THIS MORNING.

BE ESPECIALLY CAUTIOUS AT NIGHT WHEN IT IS HARDER TO RECOGNIZE THE
DANGERS OF FLOODING. AVOID LARGE PUDDLES ON THE ROADWAYS. BE
ALERT FOR ANY ADDITIONAL RISE IN THIS RIVER.
