THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN BIRMINGHAM HAS ISSUED A

* TORNADO WARNING FOR...
  LIMESTONE COUNTY... IN NORTHERN ALABAMA

* UNTIL 540 AM CDT

* AT 507 AM CDT... A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WAS DETECTED...BY NATIONAL
  WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR OVER THE ANDERSON AND ROGERSVILLE
  AREAS OF LAUDERDALE COUNTY.  DOPPLER RADAR CONTINUED TO INDICATE
  THAT A TORNADO IS LIKELY WITH THIS STORM.  THE STORM WAS MOVING EAST
  AT 40 MPH AND WILL MOVE ACROSS LIMESTONE COUNTY.

* THE STORM WILL AFFECT THE CARIO...ELKMONT...AND ATHENS AREAS.
