THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN LAS VEGAS NV HAS ISSUED A SEVERE
THUNDERSTORM AND FLASH FLOOD WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 815 PM PDT
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATIONS...

IN SOUTHEASTERN CALIFORNIA

  ...CENTRAL SAN BERNARDINO COUNTY...INCLUDING THE TOWN OF
LUDLOW AND INTERSTATE 40 IN THE VICINITY OF LUDLOW...

AT 705 PM...DOPPLER WEATHER RADAR INDICATED A SEVERE
THUNDERSTORM 5 MILES WEST OF LUDLOW.  THIS STORM WAS MOVING EAST
AT 10 TO 15 MPH AND WILL PRODUCE HEAVY RAINS WITH POSSIBLE FLASH
FLOODING...AS WELL AS DAMAGING WINDS INF EXCESS OF 60 MPH...IN
THE LUDLOW AREA BETWEEN 730 AND 800 PM.

DO NOT TRY TO CROSS FLOODED HIGHWAYS. MOST FLASH FLOOD DEATHS
OCCUR IN AUTOMOBILES.
