THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN LAS VEGAS NV HAS ISSUED A FLASH
FLOOD WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 330 PM MST FOR PEOPLE IN THE
FOLLOWING LOCATIONS...

IN NORTHWEST ARIZONA

  ...EAST CENTRAL MOHAVE COUNTY

AT 120 PM...DOPPLER WEATHER RADAR INDICATED THUNDERSTORMS WERE
PRODUCING HEAVY RAIN OVER EAST CENTRAL MOHAVE COUNTY IN THE
VICINITY OF TRUXTON.  A WEATHER SPOTTER IN TRUXTON REPORTED SOME
WASHES WERE BEGINNING TO FILL WITH WATER.  RADAR RAINFALL
ESTIMATES SHOW THAT UP TO ONE AND A HALF INCHES OF RAIN HAS
FALLEN NEAR TRUXTON DURING THE LAST HOUR.

DO NOT TRY TO CROSS FLOODED HIGHWAYS. MOST FLASH FLOOD DEATHS
OCCUR IN AUTOMOBILES. MOVE TO HIGHER GROUND.
