THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN LAS VEGAS NV HAS ISSUED A SEVERE
THUNDERSTORM AND FLASH FLOOD WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 810 PM MST
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATIONS...

IN NORTHWEST ARIZONA

  ...CENTRAL MOHAVE COUNTY
  ...INCLUDING THE CITY OF KINGMAN AND INTERSTATE 40

THIS SEVERE THUNDERSTORM AND FLASH FLOOD WARNING REPLACES AND
UPGRADES THE PREVIOUS SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING ISSUED UNTIL
625 PM MST.

AT 610 PM MST...SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS AND FLASH FLOODING WAS
OCCURRING IN THE KINGMAN AREA.  SPOTTERS REPORTED PEA-SIZED
HAIL...A PORTION OF A ROOF BLOWN OFF...DOWN TREES AND FENCES AND
POWER OUTAGES.

RADAR DETECTS SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS ON A LINE FROM KINGMAN
SOUTHWEST TO JUST EAST OF NEEDLES CALIFORNIA.  THESE STORMS ARE
MOVING TO THE NORTHEAST AT 15 MPH AND WILL MOVE THROUGH KINGMAN
AND PORTIONS OF INTERSTATE 40 DURING THE NEXT TWO HOURS.

SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS PRODUCE DAMAGING WINDS IN EXCESS OF 57 MPH
...DESTRUCTIVE HAIL...DEADLY LIGHTNING...AND VERY HEAVY RAIN.
SEEK SHELTER IN A STRONG BUILDING...BUT STAY AWAY FROM WINDOWS.

A FLASH FLOOD WARNING MEANS THAT FLOODING IS OCCURRING OR IS
IMMINENT.  DO NOT TRY TO CROSS FLOODED HIGHWAYS. MOST FLASH
FLOOD DEATHS OCCUR IN AUTOMOBILES.
