000 TTAA00 KLAS 102348 FFWLAS NVC003-110145- BULLETIN - EAS ACTIVATION REQUESTED SEVERE THUNDERSTORM AND FLASH FLOOD WARNING NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE LAS VEGAS NV 443 PM PDT SUN AUG 10 1997 THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN LAS VEGAS HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM AND FLASH FLOOD WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 645 PM PDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATIONS...... IN SOUTH NEVADA ...CLARK COUNTY NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR CONTINUES TO INDICATE SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS EXTENDING FROM PRIMM TO ECHO BAY. THE STRONGEST STORMS ARE OCCURING IN THE EASTERN PORTION OF THE LAS VEGAS VALLEY IN HENDERSON AND BOULDER CITY. PORTIONS OF HIGHWAY 93/95 BETWEEN SUNSET AND TROPICANA REMAINED COVERED WITH MUD. ESTIMATIONS OF A HALF INCH TO THREE QUARTERS OF AN INCH A HALF HOUR CONTINUE OVER HENDERSON AND BOULDER CITY.
