000 TTAA00 KTUS 140224 FFWTUS AZC019-023-140320- BULLETIN - EAS ACTIVATION REQUESTED FLASH FLOOD WARNING NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE TUCSON AZ 723 PM MST SAT SEP 13 1997 THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN TUCSON AZ HAS ISSUED A FLASH FLOOD WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 820 PM MST FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATIONS... IN SOUTHERN ARIZONA ...EASTERN AND CENTRAL PIMA COUNTY ...SANTA CRUZ COUNTY ...FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR CENTRAL AND EASTERN PIMA COUNTY AND ALL OF SANTA CRUZ COUNTY UNTIL 830 PM MST... THIS EXTENDS THE FLASH FLOOD WARNING IN EFFECT FOR EASTERN PIMA AND ALL OF SANTA CRUZ COUNTY AND NOW INCLUDES CENTRAL PIMA COUNTY. AT 720 PM TUCSON DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WITH HEAVY RAIN FROM TUCSON WESTWARD TO SELLS. THESE THUNDERSTORMS ARE MOVING NORTHEAST AT 10 MPH. DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED NEARLY TWO INCHES OF RAIN HAS FALLEN ACROSS PORTIONS OF EASTERN PIMA AND SANTA CRUZ COUNTIES. STRONG THUNDERSTORMS ARE NOW DEVELOPING IN CENTRAL PIMA COUNTY AND WILL PRODUCE HEAVY RAIN ALONG HIGHWAY 86 FROM COVERED WELLS TO SELLS TO THREE POINTS. DON'T DRIVE INTO AREAS WHERE WATER COVERS THE ROAD!
