AT 445 AM...RADAR INDICATED A LARGE AREA OF MODERATE TO HEAVY RAIN
SPREADING BACK OVER OSAGE COUNTY. PARTS OF OSAGE COUNTY...MAINLY WEST OF
HIGHWAY 99...HAVE RECEIVED UP TO 2 INCHES OF RAIN OVERNIGHT. AROUND AN
INCH OF ADDITIONAL RAIN MAY FALL THROUGH 8AM THIS MORNING...WITH RUNOFF
RAPILY FILLING SMALL CREEKS AND STREAMS. THE RAINS SHOULD LESSEN BY MID
MORNING.
 
MOST FLASH FLOOD DEATHS OCCUR IN AUTOMOBILES.  DO NOT DRIVE YOUR
VEHICLE INTO AREAS WHERE THE WATER COVERS THE ROADWAY.  THE WATER
MAY BE TOO DEEP TO ALLOW YOUR CAR TO CROSS SAFELY.  IF YOUR
VEHICLE GETS CAUGHT IN RISING WATER...ABANDONED IT QUICKLY.  THEN
MOVE TO HIGHER GROUND.
