THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN TULSA HAS ISSUED A
FLASH FLOOD WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL  915 AM CDT
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION...
 
IN NORTHEAST OKLAHOMA
 
   ...TULSA COUNTY
 
STRONG THUNDERSTORMS HAVE DUMPED 2 TO 3 INCHES OF RAIN ACROSS PARTS OF
TULSA COUNTY DURING THE EARLY MORNING AND ADDITIONAL HEAVY RAIN WILL
FALL THROUGH 8AM...BRINGING SOME LOCAL RAIN TOTALS IN THE TULSA METRO
AREA TO AROUND 4 INCHES. WATER WAS COLLECTING IN LOW-LYING AREAS ACROSS
THE CITY AND FLOODING ALONG CREEKS AND DRAINAGE SYSTEMS WILL OCCUR.
 
A FLASH FLOOD WARNING MEANS THAT FLOODING IS LIKELY OR HAS BEEN
REPORTED.  STAY ALERT AND WATCH FOR RAPIDLY RISING WATER.
REMEMBER...IT'S IMPORTANT TO KNOW WHERE YOU ARE RELATIVE TO THE
NEAREST STREAM...CREEK OR RIVER WHICH CAN BECOME A KILLER DURING
