MUSKOGEE COUNTY...ESPECIALLY FROM THE CITY OF MUSKOGEE TO
WEBBERS FALLS. IN THESE AREAS A TOTAL OF 3 TO 4 INCHES HAS
OCCURRED AND RAIN CONTINUES TO FALL IN MUCH OF THIS AREA.

WHILE THE RAIN MAY TEND TO DIMINISH BY 1PM THE RAIN THAT HAS ALREADY
FALLEN WILL CONTINUE TO RUNOFF WITH THE ADDITIONAL RAIN EARLY
THIS AFTERNOON AGGRAVATING THE SITUATION. IN ADDITION NEW
THUNDERSTORM ACTIVITY MAY REDEVELOP IN THE AREA BY MID AFTERNOON AND
THIS COULD MAKE THE SITUATION WORST.

A FLASH FLOOD WARNING MEANS THAT FLOODING IS LIKELY OR HAS BEEN
REPORTED. STAY ALERT AND WATCH FOR RAPIDLY RISING WATER.
REMEMBER...IT'S IMPORTANT TO KNOW WHERE YOU ARE RELATIVE TO THE
NEAREST STREAM...CREEK OR RIVER WHICH CAN BECOME A KILLER DURING
PERIODS OF HEAVY RAIN.

MOST FLASH FLOOD DEATHS OCCUR IN AUTOMOBILES. DO NOT DRIVE YOUR
