THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN TULSA HAS ISSUED A
FLASH FLOOD WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL  945 PM CST
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATIONS...
 
IN EAST CENTRAL OKLAHOMA
 
   ...ADAIR COUNTY...SEQUOYAH COUNTY
 
IN SOUTHEAST OKLAHOMA
 
   ...HASKELL COUNTY...PITTSBURG COUNTY
 
OBSERVATIONS AND RADAR ESTIMATES INDICATE THAT TWO TO THREE INCHES OF
RAIN HAS FALLEN DURING THE PAST DAY WITH BETWEEN 1/2 AND 1 INCH OF THAT
OCCURING EARLY THIS EVENING. SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WILL CONTINUE TO
MOVE ACROSS THE WARNED AREA THROUGH AT LEAST 900 PM WHICH MAY PRODUCE
ANOTHER 1 TO 2 INCHES OF RAIN. THIS ADDITIONAL RAIN WILL LIKELY RESULT
IN FLASH FLOODING.
 
 
A FLASH FLOOD WARNING MEANS THAT FLOODING IS LIKELY OR HAS BEEN
REPORTED.  STAY ALERT AND WATCH FOR RAPIDLY RISING WATER.

NEAREST STREAM...CREEK OR RIVER WHICH CAN BECOME A KILLER DURING
