EFFECTIVE UNTIL 800 PM EDT FOR

   ...CENTRAL AND SOUTHERN PINELLAS COUNTY
   ...ALL BUT EXTREME SOUTHEASTERN HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY

AT 430 PM...WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR CONTINUE TO INDICATE BANDS
OF HEAVY RAINFALL MOVING ACROSS THE TAMPA BAY REGION...AND THIS WILL
KEEP FLOODING PROBLEMS GOING. REPORTS FROM HILLSBOROUGH AND PINELLAS
EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT OFFICIALS INDICATE MANY ROADS AND INTERSECTIONS
ARE CLOSED DUE TO HIGH WATER.

RADAR ESTIMATES SHOW THE HEAVIEST RAINFALL OF 4 TO 8 INCHES HAS FALLEN
IN A BAND FROM TEMPLE TERRACE AND LUTZ SOUTH ACROSS DOWNTOWN TAMPA AND
INTO THE SOUTHERN HALF OF PINELLAS COUNTY AND SOUTHWEST HILLSBOROUGH
COUNTY.

A FLOOD WARNING MEANS FLOODING IS OCCURRING OR IMMINENT. DO NOT ATTEMPT
TO DRIVE THROUGH WATER OF UNKNOWN DEPTHS OR WHICH COVERS THE ROADWAY. IT
TAKES LESS THAN TWO FEET OF WATER FOR VEHICLES TO STALL AND BEGIN TO
FLOAT. KEEP CHILDREN AWAY FROM DRAINAGE DITCHES AND CATCH BASINS.
