IN SOUTHWEST GEORGIA ...DOUGHERTY COUNTY AT 1240 PM EST NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A POSSIBLE TORNADO SOUTHWEST OF WALKER AND WILL MOVE NORTHEAST AT 30 MPH AFFECTING THE CITY OF ALBANY AS WELL. IF YOU ARE IN THE PATH OF A TORNADO...THE SAFEST PLACE IS UNDER STURDY FURNITURE IN AN INTERIOR ROOM ON THE LOWEST FLOOR. USE PILLOWS TO COVER YOUR BODY. AVOID WINDOWS.
