FLASH FLOOD WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 835 PM MDT
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATIONS...

IN SOUTHWESTERN UTAH

   ...SOUTHEASTERN IRON COUNTY
   ...NORTHEASTERN WASHINGTON COUNTY

IN SOUTH CENTRAL UTAH

AT 6:30 PM MDT RADAR WAS SHOWING A BROAD BAND OF HEAVY
RAINFALL EXTENDING FROM NORTHEAST WASHINGTON COUNTY SOUTHEASTWARD
ACROSS WESTERN KANE COUNTY.  THIS RAINFALL IS ASSOCIATED WITH A
LARGE COMPLEX OF THUNDERSTORMS MOVING RAPIDLY NORTHEAST ACROSS
SOUTHWEST UTAH.

RAINFALL OF OVER AN INCH IN 30 MINUTES HAS BEEN REPORTED IN THE
KANAB AREA. FLASH FLOODING CAN BE EXPECTED IN THE WARNING AREA FOR
THE NEXT TWO HOURS AS THIS STORM COMPLEX MOVES TO THE NORTHEAST.
 
PEOPLE IN THE WARNED AREA SHOULD MONITOR FLOOD CONDITIONS...AND BE
PREPARED TO MOVE TO HIGHER GROUND...SHOULD FLOODWATERS THREATEN.

IF FLASH FLOODING IS OBSERVED...ACT QUICKLY.  MOVE TO ESCAPE FLOOD
