FLASH FLOOD WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 800 PM MDT
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION...

IN SOUTH CENTRAL UTAH

   ...WESTERN WAYNE COUNTY
 

A STRONG THUNDERSTORM HAS BEEN PRODUCING HEAVY RAINS OVER WESTERN
WAYNE COUNTY...NEAR THE COMMUNITIES OF LOA AND BICKNELL.  THIS
STORM HAS BEEN STATIONARY FOR AT LEAST 30 MINUTES..AND DOPPLER
RADAR ESTIMATES 1 TO 2 INCHES OF RAINFALL FROM THIS STORM.

PEOPLE ALONG THE FREMONT RIVER...BETWEEN LOA AND CAPITOL REEF
NATIONAL PARK...SHOULD BE PREPARED FOR FLASH FLOODING.  THE FLOOD
WATERS MAY TAKE MORE THAN AN HOUR TO REACH CAPITOL REEF NATIONAL
PARK.
 
IF FLASH FLOODING IS OBSERVED...ACT QUICKLY.  MOVE TO ESCAPE FLOOD
WATERS.  DO NOT STAY IN AREAS SUBJECT TO FLOODING WHEN WATER BEGINS
RISING.
