000 TTAA00 KSAN 062034 FFWSAN CAC073-062115- BULLETIN - EAS ACTIVATION REQUESTED SEVERE THUNDERSTORM AND FLASH FLOOD WARNING NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE SAN DIEGO CA 132 PM PDT WED AUG 6 1997 THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN SAN DIEGO HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM AND FLASH FLOOD WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 215 PM PDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION... IN SOUTHWEST CALIFORNIA ...SOUTHERN SAN DIEGO COUNTY AT 130 PM DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM 5 MILES EAST OF DULZURA IN SOUTHERN SAN DIEGO COUNTY. THE STORM WAS MOVING WEST AT 6 MPH AND WILL REACH DULZURA BY 200 PM. TORRENTIAL RAIN WILL PRODUCE LOCAL FLASH FLOODING IN THIS AREA. THIS IS A DANGEROUS STORM.
