* SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING FOR
  BARRY COUNTY - SOUTHWESTERN MISSOURI
  LAWRENCE COUNTY - SOUTHWESTERN MISSOURI
 
* UNTIL 1115 PM CDT

* SOME AREAS AFFECTED
  STOTTS CITY AND PIERCE CITY BY 1020 PM
  MONETT BY 1025 PM

* AT 1008 PM SPRINGFIELD DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A SEVERE
  THUNDERSTORM PRODUCING DAMAGING WINDS IN EXCESS OF 60 MPH
  AND LARGE HAIL THE SIZE OF GOLF BALLS.  THIS STORM WAS
  LOCATED LINE FROM DIAMOND TO NEOSHO AND WAS MOVING EAST-NORTHEAST
  AT 20 MPH.

A TORNADO WATCH IS ALSO IN EFFECT.  SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS CAN
OCCASIONALLY PRODUCE TORNADOES.
 
IF YOU ARE CAUGHT OUTSIDE...SEEK SHELTER FROM THE WEATHER IN A
STRONG BUILDING.  DAMAGING WIND...LARGE HAIL...VERY HEAVY RAIN AND
DEADLY LIGHTNING ARE ALL POSSIBLE IN SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS.  STAY
INSIDE AWAY FROM WINDOWS UNTIL THE STORM HAS PASSED.
