IN SOUTHWESTERN VIRGINIA ...FLOYD COUNTY AT 521 PM DOPPLER RADAR AND AUTOMATED RAIN GUAGES INDICATED OVER ONE AND ONE HALF INCHES OF RAIN HAD FALLEN IN PARTS OF EASTERN FLOYD COUNTY BETWEEN 415 AND 515 PM...THIS AMOUNT OF RAINFALL SHOULD CAUSE FLOODING OF SMALL STREAMS AND LOW LYING AREAS BY 545 PM. THE HEAVIEST RAIN HAS FALLEN ACROSS THE EASTERN SECTIONS OF THE COUNTY. MOVE TO HIGHER GROUND IF FLOOD WATERS THREATEN...DO NOT DRIVE THROUGH FLOODED ROADS MV/MG
