ALTHOUGH THE RAIN HAS ENDED OVER LAWRENCE AND GALLIA COUNTIES...
SIGNIFICANT RUNOFF COUTINUES AND SMALL STREAM OVERFLOW IS CONTINUING.
EVACUATIONS HAVE TAKEN PLACE IN VINTON IN GALLIAN COUNTY AND SEVERAL
OTHER LOCATIONS IN BOTH GALLIA AND LAWRENCE COUNTIES.
 
MANY LOW LYING AREAS ARE STILL UNDER WATER WITH MANY ROADWAYS BLOCKED
BY HIGH WATER. ALTHOUGH NO STRONG RISES ARE EXPECTED THIS EVENING...
DARKNESS WILL MAKE IT DIFFICULT TO SEE WATER ON ROADWAYS.
 
MOTORISTS ARE ADVISED TO BE ALERT FOR WATER STANDING ON OR FLOWING
ACROSS ROADWAYS...AND ARE ADVISED TO NOT TO ATTEMPT TO DRIVE THROUGH
THESE AREAS. THE WATER DEPTH MAY BE TOO GREAT TO ALLOW YOUR CAR TO
CROSS SAFELY.  VEHICLES CAUGHT IN RISING WATER SHOULD BE
ABANDONED QUICKLY.  MOVE TO HIGHER GROUND.
