* SOME STREAMS AFFECTED

  LITTLE WIND RIVER AND THE WIND RIVER SOUTH AND SOUTHWEST OF RIVERTON

* CAUSE AND EFFECT
HEAVY RAIN DURING THE LAST HOUR HAS BEEN CAUSING WATER TO RUN OFF
THE HILLSIDES ONTO ROUTE 789 AND ALSO INTO THE LITTLE WIND RIVER
WHICH FLOWS UNDER ROUTE 789. LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICIALS ARE NOW
CONSIDERING CLOSING ROUTE 789 JUST SOUTH OF RIVERTON DUE TO THE FLOWS
OVERTOPPING THE HIGHWAY.

* FORECAST CONDITIONS
    THUNDERSTORMS ARE CONTINUING TO DEVELOP SOUTH OF RIVERTON AND ARE
    EXPECTED TO MOVE OVER THIS AREA WITHIN THE NEXT HOUR.
 
DO NOT DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE INTO AREAS WHERE WATER COVERS THE
ROADWAY.  THE WATER DEPTH MAY BE TOO GREAT TO ALLOW YOUR CAR TO
CROSS SAFELY.  VEHICLES CAUGHT IN RISING WATER SHOULD BE ABANDONED
QUICKLY.  MOVE TO HIGHER GROUND.
