THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN RENO HAS ISSUED A FLASH FLOOD
WARNING IN EFFECT UNTIL 505 PM PDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING
LOCATIONS...

IN WESTERN NEVADA
     EAST CENTRAL LYON COUNTY
     SOUTHWESTERN CHURCHILL COUNTY

DOPPLER RADAR AT 420 PM SHOWED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WITH HEAVY
RAIN ALONG THE CHURCHILL AND LYON COUNTY BORDER JUST SOUTH OF
LAHONTAN RESERVOIR.  IT WAS NEARLY STATIONARY.

PEOPLE IN THE WARNING AREA SHOULD AVOID WASHES AND SMALL STREAMS.
AVOID FLOODED AREAS IF YOU ARE DRIVING.  SEEK SHELTER INDOORS IF
POSSIBLE AND STAY AWAY FROM WINDOWS.

SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS PRODUCE DAMAGING WINDS IN EXCESS OF 57 MPH
...DESTRUCTIVE HAIL...DEADLY LIGHTNING...AND VERY HEAVY RAIN.
