   CENTRAL RIVERSIDE COUNTY IN SOUTHEASTERN CALIFORNIA

*  SOME LOCATIONS AFFECTED...
     DESERT CENTER AND VICINITY
     KAISER ROAD FROM DESERT CENTER TO EAGLE MTN
     NEARBY PORTIONS OF INTERSTATE 10
 
*  AT 715 PM PDT RADAR DETECTED A SEVERE STORMS IN THE VICINITY OF
   DESERT CENTER. RAINFALL ESTIMATES OF NEARLY 3 INCHES HAVE FALLEN
   OVER KAISER ROAD 3 MILES NORTH OF DESERT CENTER.  SHERIFFS 
   OFFICERS REPORTED KAISER ROAD WAS FLOODED.

   STORM MOVEMENT WAS NEARLY STATIONARY WITH A SLIGHT NORTHWARD
   DRIFT.
