000 TTAA00 KPHL 190210 RRA SVRPHL DEC005-DEZ501-NJZ501-190300- BULLETIN - EAS ACTIVATION REQUESTED SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE PHILADELPHIA/MOUNT HOLLY NJ 1012 PM EDT WED JUN 18 1997 THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN MOUNT HOLLY NJ HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 1100 PM EDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION... IN DELAWARE ...SOUTHERN SUSSEX COUNTY NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE RADAR INDICATED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM MOVING ACROSS SOUTHERN SUSSEX COUNTY. AT 1010 PM...THE STORM WAS LOACTED ABOUT 5 MILES SOUTHWEST OF MILLSBORO. IT IS MOVING EAST AROUND 20 MPH. IT MAY AFFECT DAGSBORO...CLARKSVILLE...BETHANY BEACH AND SURROUNDING COMMUNITIES. A TORNADO WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT FOR THE AREA UNTIL MIDNIGHT. SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS CAN AND OCCASIONALLY DO PRODUCE TORNADOES WITH LITTLE OR NO ADVANCE WARNING. THIS IS A DANGEROUS STORM.
