FLASH FLOOD WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL  345 AM EDT
FOR THE PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATIONS...
 
IN SOUTHEAST NEW YORK
 
   ...NASSAU COUNTY...SUFFOLK COUNTY
 
AT 145 AM EDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED THAT
BETWEEN 2 AND 3 INCHES OF RAIN HAS FALLEN OVER CENTRAL NASSAU AND
NORTHWEST SUFFOLK COUNTIES. CONTINUED SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS ACROSS
THE REGION MAY RESULT IN MORE FLOODING ON ROADS...MAKING THEM
IMPASSIBLE.
 
BE ESPECIALLY CAUTIOUS AT NIGHT WHEN IT IS HARDER TO RECOGNIZE
