FLASH FLOOD WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 1145 PM CDT
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION...
 
IN MIDDLE TENNESSEE
 
   ...LEWIS COUNTY
 
AT 838 PM CDT...SLOW MOVING THUNDERSTORMS PRODUCING VERY HEAVY RAIN WERE
CONTINUOUSLY MOVING THROUGH LEWIS COUNTY. THESE THUNDERSTORMS WILL
LIKELY PRODUCE FLASH FLOODING WITH RAINFALL AMOUNTS BETWEEN TWO AND TWO
AND A HALF INCHES POSSIBLE THROUGH 10 PM THROUGHOUT LEWIS COUNTY. YOU
SHOULD MOVE TO HIGHER GROUND IMMEDIATELY.
 
BE ESPECIALLY CAUTIOUS AT NIGHT WHEN IT @IS HARDER TO RECOGNIZE
THE DANGERS OF FLOODS AND FLASH FLOODS.  IF FLASH FLOODING IS
OBSERVED...ACT QUICKLY.  MOVE UP TO ESCAPE FLOOD WATERS.  DO
NOT STAY IN AREAS SUBJECT TO FLOODING WHEN WATER BEGINS RISING.
