THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN NASHVILLE HAS ISSUED A
FLASH FLOOD WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL  645 PM CDT
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION...

IN MIDDLE TENNESSEE

   ...WARREN COUNTY

SLOW MOVING SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS HAVE DUMPED BETWEEN 1 AND 2 INCHES
OF RAIN ACROSS WARREN COUNTY SINCE 1 PM. THE WARREN COUNTY EMA OFFICE
AT 430 PM REPORTED WIDESPREAD STREET FLOODING IN MCMINNVILLE AND IN
AREAS OVER THE NORTH PART OF THE COUNTY. ADDITIONAL RAINFALL OF 0.5 TO
1.0 INCHES IS LIKELY BETWEEN NOW AND 6 PM. THIS ADDITIONAL RAINFALL
WILL LIKELY CAUSE MORE AREAS TO FLOOD AND AGGREVATE EXISTING FLOOD
PROBLEMS.


DO NOT DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE INTO AREAS WHERE THE WATER COVERS THE
ROADWAY.  THE WATER DEPTH MAY BE TOO GREAT TO ALLOW YOUR CAR TO
CROSS SAFELY.  VEHICLES CAUGHT IN RISING WATER SHOULD BE
ABANDONED QUICKLY.  MOVE TO HIGHER GROUND.
