000 TTAA00 KMOB 011714 RRA TORMOB FLC033-113-011815- BULLETIN - EAS ACTIVATION REQUESTED TORNADO WARNING NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE MOBILE AL 1113 AM CST SAT NOV 1 1997 THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN MOBILE HAS ISSUED A TORNADO WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 1215 PM CST FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATIONS... IN NORTHWEST FLORIDA ...SOUTHERN ESCAMBIA COUNTY...SOUTHERN SANTA ROSA COUNTY SHORTLY AFTER 11 AM THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE RECEIVED REPORTS OF WATERSPOUTS MOVING ACROSS SANTA ROSA ISLAND AND INTO PENSACOLA BAY. THESE WATERSPOUTS HAVE DISSIPATED BUT OTHERS APPEAR TO BE FORMING OVER SANTA ROSA SOUND. THE STORMS CONTAINING THE WATERSPOUTS WERE MOVING NORTHEAST. PERSONS NEAR THE GULF BEACHES AND THE NORTHERN SHORELINES OF THE BAYS SHOULD BE PREPARED WATERSPOUTS AND THE POSSIBILITY OF SHORT LIVED TORNADOES MOVING ONSHORE.
