000 TTAA00 KMOB 261552 RRA SVRMOB FLC033-113-261700- BULLETIN - IMMEDIATE BROADCAST REQUESTED SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE MOBILE AL 951 AM CST SUN OCT 26 1997 THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN MOBILE HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 1100 AM CST FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATIONS... IN NORTHWEST FLORIDA ...ESCAMBIA COUNTY...SANTA ROSA COUNTY AT 950 AM...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE RADAR INDICATED A LINE OF SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS OVER CENTRAL PORTIONS OF ESCAMBIA AND SANTA ROSA COUNTIES. THIS LINE OF STORMS WILL LIKELY PRODUCE DAMAING WINDS FROM NEAR CANTONMENT EASTWARD TO NEAR MILTON. MOVEMENT WAS TO THE EAST-NORTHEAST AT 25 TO 30 MPH. A TORNADO WATCH IS ALSO IN EFFECT FOR THE WARNED AREA. REMEMBER SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS CAN AND OCCASIONALLY DO PRODUCE TORNADOES WITH LITTLE OR NO ADVANCE WARNING. REMAIN CALM BUT BE ALERT TO RAPIDLY CHANGING WEATHER CONDITIONS.
