AT 458 AM CDT MOBILE RADAR SHOWED A DEVELOPING SEVERE THUNDERSTORM JUST
SOUTH OF FORT PICKENS. THE STORM WAS MOVING SLOWLY NORTHEAST AND SHOULD
IMPACT THE BEACHES OF ESCAMBIA COUNTY BEFORE 515 AM.
 
THIS WAS PART OF A LINE OF STRONG TO SEVERE STORMS THAT EXTENED INTO THE
SOUTHWEST INTO THE GULF FOR A 100 MILES.
 
SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS PRODUCE DAMAGING WIND IN EXCESS OF 55
MPH...DESTRUCTIVE HAIL...DEADLY LIGHTNING...AND VERY HEAVY RAIN.
