TORNADO WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 245 PM EDT
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION...

IN EAST CENTRAL FLORIDA

   ...BREVARD COUNTY
 
AT 142 PM EDT...WEATHER RADAR INDICATED THUNDERSTORMS MOVING RAPIDLY
INTO NORTH BREVARD COUNTY.  THESE THUNDERSTORMS WERE STRENGTHENING
IN INTENSITY AND WILL LIKELY BECOME SEVERE. THE CHANCE FOR A BRIEF
TORNADO IS ALSO POSSIBLE AS STORMS INTERACT WITH ONE ANOTHER OVER
THE COUNTY.
 
THIS IS A DANGEROUS STORM. IF YOU ARE IN ITS PATH YOU SHOULD
PREPARE FOR DAMAGING WIND IN EXCESS OF 58 MPH...LARGE HAIL...AND
DEADLY LIGHTNING. PEOPLE OUTSIDE OR IN MOBILE HOMES SHOULD MOVE
INSIDE A STRONG BUILDING AND STAY AWAY FROM WINDOWS.

IF YOU ARE IN THE PATH OF A TORNADO...ABANDON CARS AND MOBILE
HOMES FOR A REINFORCED BUILDVING OR GET INTO A DITCH OR CULVERT.
THE SAFEST PLACE IS AN INTERIOR ROOM SUCH AS A CLOSET ON THE LOWEST
FLOOR OF A STRONG BUILDING. AVOID WINDOWS.
