853 WUUS01 KMLB 231651 RRA SVRMLB FLC061-097-231755- BULLETIN - IMMEDIATE BROADCAST REQUESTED SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE MELBOURNE FL 1251 PM EDT WED APR 23 1997 THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN MELBOURNE FL HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 155 PM EDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION... IN EAST CENTRAL FLORIDA ...SOUTHERN OSCEOLA COUNTY ...INDIAN RIVER COUNTY AT 1250 PM...DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A LINE OF SEVERE STORMS FROM HOLOPAW TO LAKE KISSIMMEE. THE STORMS WILL MOVE EAST AT 35 MPH AND WILL LIKELY PRODUCE DAMAGING WINDS AND LARGE HAIL. OTHER THUNDERSTORMS WILL BECOME SEVERE FROM BLUE CYPRESS LAKE TO YEEHAW JUNCTION AND MOVE EAST AT 35 MPH TOWARD THE COAST. A TORNADO WATCH IS ALSO IN EFFECT.
