THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN MELBOURNE FL HAS ISSUED A
FLOOD WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 500 PM FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING
LOCATION...

IN EAST CENTRAL FLORIDA

   ...OSCEOLA COUNTY
 
AT MIDDAY...RADAR INDICATED THAT THE LARGE SHIELD OF RAIN WHICH
HAD PLAGUED CENTRAL FLORIDA THE LAST SEVERAL DAYS HAD PUSHED EAST OF
THE AREA.  DESPITE THE END OF THE RAINFALL...FLOODED AREAS WILL BE
SLOW TO DRAIN AND THEREFORE THE FLOOD WARNING HAS BEEN EXTENDED.

OSCEOLA COUNTY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT REPORTED THAT THERE WERE NUMEROUS
ROAD CLOSURES IN NORTHERN PARTS OF THE COpUNTY AND RESIDENCES WERE
STILL THREATENED BY FLOODING.

TRAVELLING WILL BE DANGEROUS THROUGH MUCH OF THE DAY SO IF DRIVING
THROUGH OSCEOLA COUNTY BE EXTREMELY CAUTIOUS. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO
DRIVE THROUGH WATER OF UNKNOWN DEPTH.
