SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 1020 PM EDT
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION...

IN SOUTH FLORIDA

   ...SOUTHERN MONROE COUNTY
 

A CLUSTER OF SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS WAS LOCATED ABOUT 5 TO 10 MILES
NORTH OF BIG PINE KEY TO 5 TO 10 MILES NORTH OF KEY WEST.  THESE
STORMS WILL BE MOVING ACROSS THIS AREA BY 945 PM.  A WIND REPORT OF
A 45 MPH GUST WAS RECEIVED FROM BIG PINE KEY AHEAD OF THIS CLUSTER
OF THUNDERSTORMS.

SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS PRODUCE DAMAGING WIND IN EXCESS OF 55 MPH...
DESTRUCTIVE HAIL...DEADLY LIGHTNING...AND VERY HEAVY RAIN. FOR YOUR
PROTECTION...MOVE TO AN INTERIOR ROOM ON THE LOWEST FLOOR OF YOUR
HOME OR BUSINESS.  HEAVY RAINS FLOOD ROADS QUICKLY SO DO NOT DRIVE
INTO AREAS WHERE WATER COVERS THE ROAD.
