IN SOUTHEAST FLORIDA

AT 546 PM EDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE RADAR INDICATED A SEVERE
THUNDERSTORM OVER THE EVERGLADES OF SOUTHWEST DADE COUNTY 12 MILES
WEST OF FLORIDA CITY. THE STORM WAS DRIFTING SLOWLY SOUTH.

DAMAGING WIND IN EXCESS OF 55 MPH...LARGE HAIL...VERY HEAVY RAIN...
AND DEADLY LIGHTNING ARE ALL POSSIBLE IN A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM. SEEK
