FLASH FLOOD WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 455 PM MDT (555 PM CDT)
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION...

IN SOUTHEASTERN NEW MEXICO

   ...EASTERN LEA COUNTY
 
AT 350 PM MDT A THUNDERSTORM WAS PRODUCING VERY HEAVY RAIN IN THE
HOBBS AREA.  THE EMERGENCY MANAGERS OFFICE IN HOBBS REPORTED STREET
FLOODING IN HOBBS.

DO NOT DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE INTO AREAS WHERE THE WATER COVERS THE
ROADWAY. THE WATER DEPTH MAY BE TOO GREAT TO ALLOW YOUR CAR TO CROSS
SAFELY. VEHICLES CAUGHT IN RISING WATER SHOULDT BE ABANDONED QUICKLY.
