THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN MIDLAND TX HAS ISSUED A
FLASH FLOOD WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 900 PM CDT
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION...

IN NORTHWESTERN TEXAS

   ...CENTRAL ANDREWS COUNTY
 
AT 650 PM CDT... MIDLAND DOPPLER RADAR HAD ESTIMATED BETWEEN ONE AND
TWO INCHES OF RAIN HAD FALLEN IN THE LAST SEVERAL HOURS WEST OF
ANDREWS.  THE COMPLEX OF STORMS PRODUCING THIS HEAVY RAINFALL
CONTINUES TO MOVE SLOWLY EAST AT LESS THAN 10 MPH.  THEREFORE... AN
ADDITIONAL ONE TO TWO INCHES OF RAINFALL IS POSSIBLE THROUGH 8 PM...
ESPECIALLY IN THE VICINITY OF ANDREWS.  SOME REPORTS HAVE BEEN
RECEIVED OF MINOR STREET FLOODING ALREADY OCCURRING IN THE CITY OF
ANDREWS.

DO NOT DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE INTO AREAS WHERE THE WATER COVERS THE
ROADWAY. THE WATER DEPTH MAY BE TOO GREAT TO ALLOW YOUR CAR TO CROSS
SAFELY. VEHICLES CAUGHT IN RISING WATER SHOULD BE ABANDONED QUICKLY.
MOVE TO HIGHER GROUND.
