THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN ST LOUIS HAS ISSUED A
SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL  830 PM CDT
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION...
 
IN EAST CENTRAL MISSOURI
 
   ...FRANKLIN COUNTY
 
AT 735 PM...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR WAS DETECTING TWO
SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS IN FRANKLIN COUNTY. ONE WAS ENTERING WESTERN
FRANKLIN COUNTY. IT WAS MOVING EAST AT 35 TO 40 MPH. IT WILL MOVE
THROUGH THE TOWNS OF GERALD...BEAUFORT AND NOSER MILL AND PRODUCE
DAMAGING WINDS.
 
THE OTHER STORM WAS JUST EAST OF UNION. IT WAS MOVING TO
THE EAST AT 10 MPH. IT WILL PRODUCE LARGE HAIL AND LOCALIZED FLOODING
IN GRAY SUMMIT AND CATAWISSA.
 
SEEK SHELTER IN A STURDY BUILDING. REMEMBER SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS
OFTEN PRODUCE TORNADOES WITH LITTLE OR NO ADVANCE WARNING.
