IN NORTHEAST MISSOURI ...SOUTHERN KNOX COUNTY...SOUTHERN LEWIS COUNTY AT 255 PM...NATIONAL WEATHER SERIVCE RADAR CONTINUED TO SHOW SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS COVERING THE SOUTHERN HALF OF KNOX AND LEWIS COUNTIES... MOVING TO THE EAST AROUND 40 MPH. RADAR PRECIPITATION ESTIMATES INDICATE 1.5 TO 3.0 INCHES OF RAIN HAS ALREADY FALLEN IN A WEST TO EAST AREA FROM NEAR NOVELTY TO NEWARK TO LA GRANGE...BASICALLY PARALLELING ROUTE 156.
